I haven’t taken any pictures yet, but I believe that yesterday was the first of dozens of “skywalks” that Jay Cochrane will take from the Fallsview Casino to the Hilton hotel. I saw him yesterday, but I was too far away to see more than a dot on the wire. It was quite windy and we eventually got rain today, and I didn’t see Jay at all, so I assume it was cancelled due to the weather.
One of these days I’ll take my camera and get a picture. He’s pretty high up though, so I don’t think the picture will show much.

I find it somewhat annoying that my husband and I had planned for a week to take our children to see the ‘Skywalker’ on Canada Day (July 1) We
assumed that the walk was at 2pm, but upon arriving down by the Fallsview Casino there were signs posted stating that on July 1 & July 4, there would only be one walk at 3:30pm. No big deal. We waited around until 3:40pm along with many other spectators. We then called the Casino to find out that it had been postponed until July 9. I realize that due to weather conditions etc. that it may not have been performed, but if it’s being delayed a week, do you think you could possibly change your signs so that people don’t waste a whole afternoon waiting around when their time could have been spent doing something else.
MY HUSBAND AND I WERE GUESTS AT THE HILTON HOTEL THE WEEKEND OF JUNE 24,25 AND 26,05, WE WERE IN THE RESTURANT ON THE 33RD FLOOR THE FIRST TIME WE SAW jAY COCHRANE WALK. FROM THE ROOF OF OUR HOTEL ACROSS TO THE ROOF OF THE CASINO. WE SAW HIM 2 MORE TIMES FROM OUR ROOM WINDOW ON THE 26TH FLOOR.IT WAS AS BREATHTAKING AS THE VIEW OF BOTH FALLS WAS FROM OUR ROOM.WE COULD SEE HIS SHOES CLEARLY AS EACH STEP CLASPED THE WIRE AS HE WALKED AND TALKED TO ALL OF THE CHILDRENS CHARITY HE DONORED.
