This is an unusual year in that July 1 is a Friday and July 4 is a Monday. The Canada Day and Independence Day holidays are the bookends of a long weekend. The Niagara Parks Commission is hosting an event called Two Nations Celebration.
Celebrate the birth of two great nations at the only shared bi-national wonder in North America during the “2 Nation Celebration” in Niagara Falls. Cool activities will take place throughout Niagara Parks during the day and the nights will become hot with spectacular entertainment on the main stage in Queen Victoria Park.
“This great summer line up is the result of tremendous partnerships we have been able to establish this past year” said Jim Williams, Chairman of The Niagara Parks Commission. “Our goal is to make Niagara Falls and certainly Niagara Parks the place to be this summer. Thanks to partners such Niagara’s Casinos, Coca Cola Company, Kodak, Pizza Pizza, Nestle and Cool Brands the 2 Nation Celebration will be a landmark event at North America’s most recognized natural wonder.”
