Over the last decade the number of restaurants and hotels has multiplied enormously. Along with that has been an increase in the number of billboards around. Well, it look like there are going to be more. This was taken at the corner of Stanley Avenue and Robinson Street:
You can’t see it in the picture, but there are orange painted lines on the ground. it looks like there are going to be two billboards placed diagonally on the supports so that you can see them from either direction on Stanley Avenue.

hey i was wondering if there were any proposals at council on monday nite? The window on the city website seems to be dead.
I didn’t hear anything, but this is the sort of thing that could have been approved months or years ago.
I did not get a chance to see the council meeting this Monday, but from what was in the newspaper on the following days, it looks like the most significant resolution was to allow a local car dealership to move to a new location in an as yet unbuilt building.
