You will recall that last week I emailed the Niagara Clifton Group asking about the new Bronto’s Adventure Playland. I received a reply on Saturday (3 days after my original email) from Debbie Graham, Director of Attractions:
Thank you very much for your interest in our new attraction. We are anticipating an opening in late July. We have not determined our pricing as of yet but I believe we will be priced similar to our other attractions which are currently in the range of $6.99 – $10.99. The attraction will be located next to the Haunted House. We are in the process of updating our website to include information about Bronto’s Adventure Playland. Please check www.falls.com for updates as we post them.
I just checked the Falls.com web site again, and there is still no information.

OK Niagara gang….
I see on the fallscam that there has been a large crane in front of Table Rock House for the past couple days. Anyone know why?

Hiya, Karen!
Bad mom……..bad mom!!!!!
Niagarafrontier.com (Thunder Alley) NEWS & EVENTS…
“Niagara Parks begin $34 Million project at Table Rock, etc.”
……..Sorry about that!!!!!
As Karen’s Mom had stated and as outlined on the cities website…Over the next 2 years they are going under a revitalization to add more retail and dining areas. The Incline Railway & parking lot adjacent will be redesigned as part of the renovations. As you drive by you can see that they have completely leveled of the topsoil to uncover the cement structure of the existing building. I would imagine there are plans to build atop of this?
On another note, I really wish we could move these discussions into a forum so that we can discuss some of the great issues that come up about Niagara. I know that Graham had planned on moving in that direction but it hasn’t seemed to materialize as of yet. I find it very hard to keep up on these great issues when it is done through the “comments.” As Graham is adding new content it is being pushed to a new page and it kind of fizzles out, just my opinion!
Graham - special request!!!

Nice little article on Niagara/virginia tech story - billed as “the best photo you’ll see today”
For some reason on this site - I can’t see pictures!!! Any chance you can pull the photos and post them for me and the rest of the crew?
The article also ends with Niagara triva….all of which we already know. : )
Fallsview, I took down the forum that I had integrated with the blog because nothing had been posted for over a month. I’ll see what I can do this weekend to get a better forum up and running. It would certainly help if you or someone else would be a moderator or admin.
I would love to help out Graham, I think you do an amazing job on this site and I don’t know how you keep up on it by yourself.
Karen, re: the crane. It is actually for the annual inspection they do on the rock face near Table Rock. It lowers men in a cage over the side so they can check for loose rocks, ice damage, etc. Remember that it’s called Table Rock because there was a large, overhanging piece of rock that fell off many years ago, and the Niagara Parks certainly don’t want anything like that to happen again.
Graham and Fallsview, bravo on your decision to collaborate. Looking forward to good things.
Good to Know! My hubby has a problem with heights and sometimes has trouble near the edge. Now I’ll tell him not to worry! LOL Thanks Rick!!
