Maple Leaf Motel torn down

The Maple Leaf Motel on Fallsview Boulevard (across the street from the IMAX Theatre) has been torn down. This must have to do with the For Sale sign I posted about a year or so ago.

    Was this the motel behind the Fallsview Inn?

    Oh, no!!! Say it isn’t so!! We stayed here before and had planned to return. It wasn’t a fancy place, but it was clean and affordable and the people were so nice. I had hoped that it was just the house in front that was for sale, and not the motel. It looks like the office and some of the 1-story section are still there.
