No more Nathan’s famous hotdogs?

Last year I took a picture of the Skylon Tower concessions location on Murray Hill and posted about how there was a Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs location.  The sign for Nathan’s is now gone, and it looks like it has been replaced with a Mr. Sub and DQ/Orange Julius location (which is also inside the games area of the tower).

Actually the Mr. Sub and DQ/Orange Julius were moved out of the arcade. The buildings down here are all part of the Tower complex so they just moved the franchises. There’s nothing in those spots in the arcade now (the Pizza Pizza and burger place are still there).

I know they are all part of the Tower complex. The signs for Mr. Sub and DQ/Orange Julius are still up in the arcade. I assume that they wouldn’t have the same thing in both locations. I wonder if they’ll replace them in the arcade with something else, or if it’ll stay empty (which would seem right seeing how empty the area already is).

Yeah, I did notice the last time I went there that those food stands were pretty empty, they weren’t even open, I am assuming they only open on the weekends or maybe during the very busy season. The couple times I have been to the arcade since the food stands opened none of the food stands were getting any business, I only walked up to one of them to return a lost set of keys. I would imagine they would keep the Pizza Pizza as they have that special coupon offer with them for pizza, drinks and tokens.
