I’ve posted a few pictures of the progress (here, here and here) on the repainting of the Ripley’s Moving Theater building. The other day I noticed that Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks across the street on Victoria Ave has been painted as well. I’m not sure that I’m a fan of the new colour scheme.

One week ago my family headed out to check out the Ripley’s attractions in Niagara Falls. These include Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks, Ripley’s Moving Theater, and Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Odditorium. The building between Mama Mia’s and Tussaud’s is progressing quickly. However there is still no official indication at the site what will be there.
As has been mentioned before, the building between Mama Mia’s and Tussaud’s was torn down, and a new building is going up. Quite a bit has been done since the last time I took a picture. There have been rumours that it will be a Build-a-Bear store, but nothing official has been announced.
A while ago there was a building torn down between Mama Mia’s and Tussaud’s. Over the last few weeks some work has started. Concrete has been poured and people were there working on something today. I’m still not clear on what’s going in there.
Two weeks ago I had a chance to go through Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks. I’ve posted about Tussaud’s several times, and it was nice to go through it. The first thing that you notice is that all of the figures are out in the open. You can put your arm around them and pose with them….
I’m not sure why they have them and what they have to do with a wax museum, but Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks has some girls out front that do some dancing, and there was also a man standing across the street acting like a town crier.
As you can see by this sign that was just inside Tussaud’s, they are opening today at 5 pm. Below is another picture of the front of the building, this time taken from the north side looking south. The other pictures I’ve taken are from the south side looking north.
Yesterday I posted that the large sign of Louis Tussaud is up in front of Louis Tussaud’s Waxworks. I don’t know if you noticed or not, but the sign was facing a different direction. Instead of facing up and down the street, it was facing across the street. I just figured that they did that…
